Dr. Phillip Hall 3rd received his MD at the Western Reserve University in 1951. He conducted his post graduate training in Cardiovascular Physiology at Western Reserve University. Dr. Hall also received training from the American Heart Association between 1962 and 1967. He is also a member of the American Federation for Clinical Research, Central Society for Clinical Research, American Society of Nephrology, and the International Society of Nephrology.

Dr. Hall is a professor emeritus at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He was awarded the Alumni Achievement Award for Distinguished Achievement in Medicine. He had also received the Kaiser Award for Extraordinary Contributions to Education, and The Mineva & Carl Wiggers Prize in Physiology Dr. Hall is a kidney specialist for NetWellness and has had a portion of his work and research posted on the site.
