Melissa A. Horn received her certificate as a family nurse practitioner from Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing. She is also a certified nephrology nurse as well as a certified clinical transplant coordinator. Horn was a project coordinator for the National League of Nursing and Laerdal Corporation. Her interests include heart and kidney transplant patients, basic immunology, and international transplants. Horn has won many awards for her nursing ability. She has been a Nurse of Hope and an Oustanding Young Woman of America. She is currently an instructor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.
