Dr. Leroy W Essig II is a physician and Associate Professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus Ohio. His clinical research interests include sleep medicine, dive & altitude medicine, and ICU airway management. Dr. Essig does research on sleep apnea in athletes and ICU airway management. He has published articles in journals like the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Chest, and Critical Care Medicine, to name a few. Dr. Essig received his MD from The Ohio State University and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. He belongs to American College of Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and Society of Critical Care Medicine.
