Dr. Catheirne Demko is an epidemiologist with a focus on studying the relationship between tobacco usage and dental disease. Her research activities include the development and testing of a school curriculum aimed at preventing the use of smokeless tobacco and a course aimed at dental providers studying the detection of oral lesions in dental practices. Dr. Demko is currently a Research Associate in the Case School of Dental Medicine. She received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and her Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Case Western Reserve University.
