Dr. Cataland earned his medical degree and completed his residency at The Ohio State University. He completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Cataland joined the faculty at The Ohio State University in 2000. Additionally, Dr. Cataland has ongoing clinical and laboratory studies for the treatment of Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP). Dr. Cataland’s clinical practice is dedicated to the treatment of benign hematologic diseases. He is part of the benign hematology team which includes Dr. William Hicks, Dr. Eric Kraut and Dr. Michael Stanek.
