Dr. Anne L. Hague is an Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene in the College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University. Dr. Hague directs courses in nutrition and research, and provides clinical instruction for dental and dental hygiene students. She currently practices dental hygiene in Dental Faculty Practice and is a registered dietitian. Dr. Hague received her PhD (2003) in Food and Nutrition Sciences from The University of Maine, her MS (1989) and BS (1986) in Human Nutrition from the University of New Hampshire, and her AS (1982) in Dental Hygiene from the New Hampshire Technical Institute. She is the 2003 recipient of the Society for Nutrition Education Outstanding Student Research Award and the 2001-2002 Kappa Omicron Nu Doctoral Research Fellowship. Prior to her current faculty position, Dr. Hague was an Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene at the University of New England where she directed courses in nutrition, dental radiology, senior seminar, and dental materials. She has presented continuing education courses on various topics related to nutrition and oral health, guest lectured for numerous professional organizations, conducted research in the area of eating disorders and nutrition education, and recently published an article in April 2005 entitled “Web-based Intervention for Changing Attitudes of Obesity” in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior.
