Richard Shell, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health and a member of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Columbus Children’s Hospital. He is Associate Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic. His clinical interest is in cystic fibrosis research. He is an active member of the Therapeutic Development Network of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where he helps to run multiple clinical trials at Children’s. His other research interests are with children with broncho- pulmonary dysplasia, asthma and Jeune’s Syndrome or asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy. He also is active in many of the physician development courses offered through the medical school.
