Raymond Hong, MD, MBA, FACR

Dr. Raymond Hong received his MD from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio in 1996. Dr. Hong completed a combined Medicine-Pediatrics internship at the Medical Center of Delaware and Thomas Jefferson University in Wilmington, Delaware in 1997. He then finished an Internal Medicine residency at Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio in 1999 and a Rheumatology fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 2001. He is an assistant professor in the Division of Rheumatology at University Hospitals of Cleveland and the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, Dr. Hong received his MBA at the Case Weatherhead School of Management with a concentration in Health Systems Management.

Dr. Hong is the managing attending physician for the Rheumatology Fellows Arthritis Clinic providing mentoring to medical trainees at multiple stages of development. He is also developing curriculum for Rheumatology fellows and Case medical students. Dr. Hong has lectured extensively (locally and nationally), and in 2006 was named Teacher of the Year by the Division of Rheumatology at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
