Dr. Nana-Sinkam is an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio. His clinical interests include thoracic malignancies, smoking-related lung disease, and critical care. His research interests are identifying the role of recently discovered microRNAs in lung tumor development and progression, understanding of the molecular heterogeneity that exists in lung cancer, and examining the role of prostaglandins on endothelial survival in tobacco-related lung disease. Dr. Nana-Sinkam has published articles in journals like Cancer Research, Molecular Cancer Research, and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. He received his MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Dr. Nana-Sinkam is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine and is licensed by the State of Ohio. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, American Thoracic Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
