Dr. Robert Kalayjian is the Director of the Division of Infectious Disease at MetroHealth Medical Center, and is an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Internal Medicine/Infectious Disease. Dr. Kalayjian received his MD from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He went on to complete an internship, residence and fellowship all at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. His primary area of research is in HIV and AIDS, with an emphasis on early detection of the HIV virus.
