Specialty/Clinical Interest Dr. Das is a pulmonologist with expertise in sleep disorders. Her special interests are in obstructive sleep apnea, snoring and excessive daytime sleepiness. She feels strongly that adequate patient education improves compliance with therapy and focuses on this in her regular practice. |
Education/Specialty Training Dr. Das is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine as well as her fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Professional Highlights Dr. Das is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. She has recently edited the Respiratory Section of ICU Recall including the chapter on non-invasive ventilation and was a 2006 award winner from the American College of Chest Physicians on her presentation sleep disorders and pulmonary hypertension section.
