Henry Ng, MD, is an internist and pediatrician at MetroHealth Medical Center. He completed his MD degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2001, his residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in 2006. He joined the Case faculty in 2006 and is currently an Assistant Professor. He is board certified in General Internal Medicine and General Pediatrics. He is one of the founders and the clinical director of the PRIDE Clinic, a primary care clinic for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning patients and families. He currently serves as the Board Secretary of the Gay Lesbian Medical Association. He served as the Medical Director for the Metro Youth Outreach Project, a service providing medical care and support services for at-risk youth in Cleveland ages 14-24. His clinical interests are in health disparities, LGBT health, medical student and resident education. He is multilingual and fluent in English, Spanish, Cantonese and American Sign Language. Dr. Ng answers questions for NetWellness consumers that deal with sexual orientation, gender identity/expression and how these characteristics intersect with medical care or a health condition.
