Dr. Focht is an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University School of Physical Activity and Educational Services in Columbus Ohio. He has published articles in journals like Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Journal of Sport Behavior and Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research to name a few. Dr. Focht went to the University of Florida and graduated with a PhD in Health and Human Performance. He belongs to the American College of Sports Medicine, North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity, National Strength and Conditioning Association, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Society of Behavioral Medicine.
