You and Your Lungs
Lung disease is any health condition that impairs the function of the lungs. Lung diseases can be caused by smoking (primary and second-hand smoke), pollution, on the job exposure to toxins in the air such as asbestos and silica dust, tumor growth caused by exposure to toxic substances, and infections that travel through the air.
In support of Healthy Lung Month, NetWellness invites you to browse through our lung-related health topics where you can learn more about lung diseases and ask questions of our faculty experts.
