Heart attack:

  • A heart attack is permanent death of heart tissue.

  • Warning Sign: loss of oxygen to heart causes a chest pain, also known as “angina”.

Heart Failure:

  • This condition occurs when your heart is damaged, usually as a result of past heart attacks.

  • When your blood pressure is too high, your heart has to work much harder to pump against the pressure.

  • Due to the amount of pressure in the arteries, much less oxygen reaches the other parts of your body, which causes shortness of breath and fatigue.
