Fatty Tumors (Lipomas)
Could you please to me what fatty tumors are?
The medical term for a fatty tumor is "lipoma." Lipomas are the most common of all benign tumors and may arise in any location where fat is normally present. Most of the time they occur just under the skin but may also be found inside the chest or abdomen. Multiple lipomas are occasionally seen running in families. Removal of a lipoma will generally cure the problem.
