CPK Test08/28/2000 |
Dear Dr. - What is a cpk test for and if it is high, what does that mean? C- Reactive protein test was high (1.28), what does that mean? Rheumatoid factor was less than 20 what does this mean?
CPK is released from damaged muscle. It is elevated in those conditions which cause muscle injury.CRP is increased in inflammation of any cause.
A negative rheumatoid factor means that rheumatoid arthritis is less likely but does not completely exclude the diagnosis.
