Tortuous colon03/09/2007 |
What is a tortuous colon? how is it treated? What caused it? diet? stress? Is it precursor to colon cancer?
It is a fancy term for a colon that is longer and perhaps more "twisted" than normal. It is NOT a precursor to colon cancer. It is likely a result of both diet and genetic predisposition.
