Question:

There is a brown line on my big toe just one what is the cause of this.Don`t drink, smoke and is very healthy thank you very much.

Answer:

Brown lines on toes or toenails can indicate a number of possible causes. These may include foreign bodies under the skin or nail, fungus infections and nail bed tumors or other dermatologic conditions in rare cases. It many also be something as simple as skin staining from an area of pressure from a shoe. A thorough examination is advised.
