Orthodontist treatment query04/25/2008 10:05PM |
Hi, my teeth are not aligned and crooked, and my age is 24. Is it too late for me to get an orthodontic treatment. Sorry, I know it`s a little unfair for you to answer this without seeing my teeth, but still I would like to ask this question. Thanks in advance.
Teeth never become permanently fixed to the jawbones. Therefore, you can have braces at any age. Adult treatment is complicated by the increased risk of periodontal disease during treatment and the fact that adult jaws are no longer actively growing.
