Front upper teeth

05/01/2008 12:39PM

Question:

I just had some minor work done on my back two molars both on lower left and lower right. Each time, I had to have about 7 shots of novicne to get numb. (we kept trying, i kept feeling the drillings, so more novicane)All this trama was done to the lower jaw. Also as of two days ago, i was just fitted for and have been wearing a night gaurd. (upper teeth) Since this work, and since the night gaurd, i`ve been having tingling sensations on/in my upper two front teeth? Are things moving around up there? Whats going on? Should i be worried?

Answer:

Your upper front teeth are probably just getting used to the new bite guard.  If it still tingles in a week, call your dentist.  The bite guard might need adjustment.
