Whether the person with epilepsy can marry?05/07/2008 04:50AM |
I got married some six months back. my husband is working in one Mnc and he is an mechanical engnieer. He is nearly 33 years old.He got epilepsy some three times during these 8 Years. He got one some 2 months back also. Previously he was taking Heptoin and it seems like for past 1 year he is taking Lonazep 1mg in the night with 2 vitamin tablets. 2 monts back, he didn`t take the medicine regularly for some 10days and he got seizure 1 day early morning around 3 PM. Whether this will affect my marriage life? Whether this will affect my issues? How long he needs to continue the tablets? He was taking Heptoin for nearly 6 to 7 years and lona zep for 2 years and he is continuing that now also. Whether these tablets will have any side effects and this will affect my health in any ways due to our marriage life... Please advice me... I am in total confusion since i am not aware about this.
Thank you for visiting NetWellness. On this site, we try to answer general questions about epilepsy but cannot diagnose or recommend treatment. You appear to have some very, very specific questions about epilepsy, which can only be answered properly by a physician who is familiar with your history, physical exam, and test results. Your questions about the testing results you've been given or the risks, benefits, and alternatives for proposed treatments of this condition need to be directed to your treating physician(s). You should insist that they answer these questions in a way that you are able to understand before consenting to any treatment. If your physician is unable to help you understand these issues, you should get a second opinion. Take care.
