Temporal lobe epilepsy05/10/2008 09:02PM |
Can someone have a temporal lobe seizure and not have epilepsy?
The only way a temporal lobe seizure is not part of epilepsy is if the seizure is caused by an acute abnormality in the brain (like a stroke or infection). Epilepsy by definition is simply more than one seizure.
