Question:

How do you know if you have an STD in the mouth? what are some signs? how can it be treated?

Answer:

Although several different STD's have been described in the mouth, this is an uncommon place to get such diseases. Each would have different findings and different treatments. A discussion of all of these conditions would be beyond the scope of this website. If you are concerned about the possibility of an STD in your mouth, you should make an appointment to see an oral pathologist for evaluation.
