Help with stoma bag06/17/2008 10:48PM |
My mother had her colon removed cause of cancer, but ever since she`s had the surgery, the bags do not adhere to her skin. The skin around the stoma is breaking down and very painful. Different health care persons have tried putting the bag on their way, but nothing helps. HELP.
You need a consultation with a colon and rectal surgeon who specializes in stoma construction, and who will have an expert stoma therapist at their disposal.
