Preventing Osteoporosis

Question:

I am a 58yr. old female who used to be very active, but am not now. I`ve had a number of fractures due to accidents and still experience very bad lower back pain. My mother is very crippled up from osteoporosis and I am concerned I will have the some problems. My question is: Are there things that I could be doing to prevent a lot of problems down the road. My stomach can take very few medicines. Thank You.

Answer:
