Urinary Disorders |
UTI06/24/2008 05:20PM |
Upon a urine sample (no symptoms) I was told I had a UTI. I was treated with Cipro, with no change. What else can it be? My doctor ordered a culture. I only have one kidney left, so I`m concerned it might be bad.
I agree with getting a urine culture to diagnose a urinary tract infection. Asymptomatic bacteria in the urine does not always require treatment. It would be important to follow up with your doctor and possibly see a urologist to review the findings and answer your specific questions.
