Question:

HELLO MY MOM HAS A TOOTH Ache AND THEY SAID SHE NEEDED A ROOT CANAL. SO SHE WENT IN FOR ONE AND THEY SENT HER HOME WITH A TEMP. FILLING AND SAID SHE HAS TO GO BACK IN 7 DAYS LATER BECAUSE HER TOOTH WAS TO CALCIFIED. ( THE DENTIST ASSISTANT SAID THE DENTIST DID NOT HAVE THE TOOLS HE NEEDED? DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT?)AND THEY LOWERED THE BILL FROM 1400 TO 1OOO.00. DOES THIS MEAN THEY MAY NOT NEED TO DO A ROOT CANAL? ALSO WHAT CAUSES A CALCIUM BUILD UP? IS SOMETHING WE SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT? ALSO MY MOM SEEMS TO THINK THIS IS THE SAME TOOTH SHE HAD A ROOT CANAL ON ABOUT A YEAR AGO.SO WOULD SHE NEED IT AGAIN OR COULD THEY HAVE CHECKRD THE WRONG TOOTH?. THANK YOU FOR ANY INFO.REBECCA
