Left shoulder injury

Question:

I recently injured my left shoulder and been having a difficult time healing. Seems like almost all pain went away except for what I think feels like a pinched nerve in the left blade, Deep (I could almost feel it in my chest) I also notice that sometimes the whole shoulder burns and almost becomes numb sometime.. My question is, will an EMS mussel stimulator help soothe the pain of a pinched nerve?

Answer:

Typically for nerve pain we would prescribe a TENS unit but only a trial of either device will tell you which works better for your condition. By the way, the area of numbness and pain that you are describing sound to me like a problem coming from your neck.
