Itchy lesions on scalp after using hair dye09/02/2008 01:21PM |
About 5 days after using a new hair dye, I developed a red itchy number of bumps on my scalp. Is there a home remedy for this, or should I see a dermatologist?
It's best to see a dermatologist. This could be contact dermatitis from the hair dye which is not unusual. A prescription strength topical steroid as well as oral medications may be needed.
