Question:

My mother is a 83 yo female 3wk post laproscopic gallbladder removal experiencing pain on left side. ERCP prior to gallbladder removal. She has resumed all meds except lovastatin. Describes pain as "needs to rid stomach of something", but having no nausea or stomach cramping. Eating very light meals with little fat. Due to have bile duct stint removed early September. Any thoughts on the origin of pain appreciated.

Answer:
