I got pain in my sides for a while09/18/2008 07:37AM |
I have got pain in my sides for a few weeks now. Today is worse. I even feel it when I am walking. I have got no problem with urination nor itchiness. Do I have a problem?When my husbund put his arm around me when we sleep it usually goes over my side. I can`t handle is arm there.

It does not sound as though the pain is coming from your kidneys. Please see our link to the article "Kidney Pain" listed below. After you read it, if you are convinced that you are having kidney pain, it would be best to see your doctor soon and show him exactly where the pain is located. If your doctor examines you while you are having pain, he should be able to tell you whether your pain is likely to be caused by your kidneys. If it seems to be, he may order imaging studies or other tests to see what the problem is.
