Pregnancy |
Appetite has decreased10/04/2008 09:14PM |
Hi, I am 32 weeks into my first pregnancy and for the last week I have started to lose my appetite. I try to eat regularly but can only eat a few mouthfuls. Im just wondering if this is normal or should I go to my doctor about it?
It is common for women, especially in later pregnancy, to have to eat small frequent meals. This happens because the size of the enlarging uterus puts physical pressure on the stomach and creates an early sensation of fullness. If you are having nausea, that would be something to discuss with your physician.
