Multiple Bumps on Head11/25/2008 |
I have 4 small bumps on my head, one of which is slightly bigger than the other three. They don`t cause me any pain or other problems. My mother had two larger sized masses on her head that eventually "popped" similar to a pimple when she got older. When they did so, a very large "white head" like thing came out about 1/2 cm in diameter. Do you have any idea what these are and should I be worried or seek further attention?
It is hard to know for sure without examining you. It seems as though these lesions are pillar cysts. They come from the hair follicles, they are benign and simple removal is what is recommended.
