Cranberry juice a cure?12/02/2008 |
I was diagnoised with interstitial cyctitis and was told not to drink cranberry juice, however when my kidneys flare up I do drink cranberry juice and the pain ceases from my kidneys. What harm am I doing to my bladder and the interstitial cyctitis I have?
Some people with interstitial cystitis find that certain foods or drinks such as cranberry juice may irritate their bladder symptoms. If this makes you feel better then it is not necessary to stop it. You may wish to discuss this further with your doctor.
