02/03/2009

Question:

My mother was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma about January 27, 2009. The doctor told her it cannot be remove surgically. She is 70 years old and has smoked for over 52 years. She smoked about half a pack a day. Are there any treatment other than radiation or chemotherapy?

Answer:

Thank you for visiting NetWellness. Unfortunately, you have not provided enough information for our experts to be able to provide you with an answer. Where is the cancer and where do your mother's doctors think it began? You may wish to get a second opinion or reconsult with same doctor if you questions have not been fully answered.
