S1 Annular Tear with 2 Protruding Disc L4-L5

03/20/2009

Question:

I was in a MVA 12/01/2008 and I had a MRI that showed an annular tear best seen on S1 and also 2 protruding disc at L-4 and L-5. I am having burning radiating pain down my leg and occaisional pain in my hip. What type of treatment besides pain meds should I be receiving? I am having trouble sitting and standing for long periods so I have to stand awhile then sit awhile. I am 50 years old and female.
