Feet turning blue

04/13/2009

Question:

I`m 55yrs old and I have noticed in the past two or three month my feet are turning blue when I set for about one or two minutes they turn almost black bottom to above my toes, although I`m feeling very tired.

Answer:

Hello. This may be due to some problems with your veins. The blood may be having a hard time returning if the vein valves are not working properly. I would suggest you speak to your doctor about getting an ultrasound of the vein valves in your legs. Good Luck!
