Breast Cancer |
Post surgery numbness06/12/2009 |
Bilateral mastectomy and sentinel node removal on 4/14/09. Total numbness in the breast area currently. Will any sensation return over time? If yes, any idea on when is may begin to happen? Is "normal" sensation a possiblity over time or will the breast just "look" normal but have no feeling? Thank you.
Numbness is very common after any surgery. The area of numbness often shrinks with time, but some numbness may in fact be permanent.
