Kidney Pain06/23/2009 |
After drinking a lot, say 12 glasses, I get pain in both sides of my lower back when I lay down. Could this be from excessive liquid?
It is unusual to drink 12 consecutive glasses of liquid. If you are having flank pain it is not likely kidney pain. If the liquid you are drinking is carbonated beverage then the gas may cause bowel distension enough to give you pain. I can't tell you that you don't have a kidney problem based on this information alone.
