Question:

is it harmful to the babies and mother having a heartburn during her third trimester?

Answer:

Heartburn is a common symptom in the third trimester.  It can be resolved by eating small meals, avoiding lying down soon after eating or taking simple antacids such as Tums.  If the heartburn is not resolved by these simple methods then you should contact your doctor.
