Loss of Taste Following Two Upper Crowns09/28/2009 |
Hello, two days ago I had permanent crowns placed over two upper molars on the left side of my mouth. As both teeth had had root canal therapy previously this was done with minimal discomfort without injections or anaesthetics of any kind. The first night was fine, but the day after the permanent crowns were put in place I noticed that I was not tasting any of the food I was eating. I can smell the food perfectly well, that`s not a problem. It`s now the second night and I still can`t taste a thing. Should I be worried?
