Urinary Disorders |
Frequency10/27/2009 |
I have a frequent urge to urinate, but have no bacteria in urine and no kidney stones. What else might cause the frequency?
There are many things that can cause frequency and urgency. Certainly urinary tract infections and ureteral stones are two of the causes. Increased fluid intake, bladder hypertrophy from an enlarged prostate or less elasticity of the bladder with age can cause these symptoms as well as bladder tumors, sinple anxiety, neurologic disorders and other causes of cystitis. I would suggest that you see your doctor for further evaluation including checking the urine.
