Diffusley Enlarged Thyroid11/16/2009 |
I recently had and ultasound and a CT scan with contrast. Left lobe measuring 7.4cm craniocaudual, x3.3cm transverse, x 4.0cm AP. Right 8.4 x 3.5 x 4.0cm. The isthmus measures 1.7cm. Thyroid diffusely hypervascular with a hyperdense nodule measuring 13.10mm ar inferior pole of right thyroid lobe. Also incidentally found a 6mm polyp or retention cyst in medial wall of right axillary sinus. What does all this mean? Also, my Dr. told me I have very low calcium level in my blood. Should I worry about cancer?
You should make an appointment to see an otolaryngologist who care for thyroid problems.
