I Am Not Sure and the Doc Said I Am a Puzzle11/20/2009 |
Iam 31 and have been living with very bad pain in my lower ab, into my vaggy and my rectum this pain makes me get into a fetal position and cry helpless and have been going to Dr and nothing seems to be right I really need to get to the bottom of my pain and it caouse for the last 10 years I want my life back please help me not (endometriosis)
There are many different causes of pain in the pelvis, and it is hard to tell from your description what might be the source. Some clues that point to the likely source include the nature and location of the pain, the timing of the pain (eg., whether it coincides with menstrual periods or with bowel movements), associated symptoms (eg., bowel issues, urinary issues), and findings on exam (triggers for pain).
Sometimes additional tests are necessary, for example sonograms, CT scans, or even surgery to look inside the pelvis.
I am not sure by your message if you mean that you suspect you have endometriosis, or if you have ruled out endometriosis. Some web sites that have additional information that might be of some use to you include http://www.endometriosis.org and http://www.pelvicpain.org.
Best wishes.
