Swollen Uvula05/05/2010 |
I had an endoscopic ultrasound on my lower esophagus yesterday. Yesterday and today, my uvula has been extremely swollen and I have had ear discomfort. Should I be concerned or is this a normal side effect from the EUS?
This can be just irritation of the uvula from the procedure. This should settle in a few days. Ibuprofen may help your symptoms.
