Morphine does not work

04/30/2010

Question:

I have a broken back with a number of other problems with my back. I am with a new Doctor for pain management. I take 4 Oxycodone HCL 30 mg a day. This is a fast acting medication. It works but does not get me to a leave take I feel like moving around do to pain. We tried out Morphine Sulfate CR 15 mg 2 a day. I tried this medication out for two months and found it did nothing to help with pain no side effects nothing. I took moriphine while in the hospital in a shot form, it worked. I am 5`-5" 180 lbs. I do take Zanaflex 4 mg 3 times a day, Ibuprofen 800 mg 2 times a day, Seroquel 25 mg once a day. I do not have a history of drug use nor acholol. What is a slow release pain medication that may work?
