Liquid Running from Nose05/17/2010 |
I have brief periods (about 45 minutes or so) where this clear thin liquid runs from my nose constantly. I dont have a cold and it is not yellow or green.
Clear fluid from the nose could be due to rhinitis (inflammation causing clear mucus drainage) or a brain fluid leak (called CSF rhinorrhea). This should be evaluated by a University ENT physician with experience with CSF rhinorrhea. A CT scan of the sinuses may give a clue to the source.
