UTI and Some Lower Pelvic Pain Post Menopause08/10/2010 |
I am 59 and into the post menopause phase by about three years. Had my first UTI with a gram beta strep and the presence of lactobacillus. GBS is gone with Cypro. No further antibiotic treatment at this time. Vaginal atropy is present. It has been suggested that I use localized estrogen for a 12-week period to assist the existing problem. I have never really used any estrogens throughout my life. Is it possible to reverse or calm a situation down like this with a natural product?
There is no natural product available that will work vaginally to correct this issue.
