Can myasthenia gravis or immunosuppressants (like cellcept) used in treating MG cause pulmonary emboli?
While inflammation can somewhat increase the risk for venous thromboembolic events, it is unclear if chemotherapy-like medications (outside the context of a diagnosis of cancer) increase the risk for thromboembolic events.
